Summary
Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to bar patrons, in a fast-paced environment and ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited the following:
Set up and break down of bars. Keep bar area clean, sanitized, and neat.
Take orders from customers
Serve wine, beer or cocktails
Request identification from customers when legal age is questioned
Collect and close payments in POS system
Ability to efficiently switch between multiple tasks

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required. At least six months to one-year prior restaurant and/or bar experience required. Experience with POS System preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current, valid TABC Certification
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands

The employee may be required to lift and/or move 25 or more pounds. Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The employee may be on feet for up to eight hours during shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Must be able to work assigned schedule for duration of event. Must wear company-issued uniform vest.
