SUMMARY
Performs a wide variety of general accounting functions, including maintaining the fixed asset process, managing the documentation of our investment portfolio, initiating orders, performing analysis on budget to actuals and revenue, maintaining records, creating documentation, and assisting on various projects as they occur.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following:
· Maintain and enhance the fixed asset process to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Manage documentation related to the investment portfolio within the ledger system
· Works with staff show-wide to initiate orders and provide status updates on orders/payments
· Develop, integrate, and maintain the annual operating and capital budget processes, including the creation of budget tools, templates, and guidance used across the organization.
· Prepares periodic and annual budget reports and performs analysis
· Serve as a key contributor in budget-to-actual analysis, identifying variances, resolving issues, and recommending appropriate accounting actions.
· Assists with close, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations, and supporting schedules for various accounts.
· Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and training to a division-specific Bookkeeper, with an emphasis on understanding organizational structure, proper use of reclasses, accruals, and deferrals, and adherence to accounting standards.
· Manage project timelines and complete work accurately within a reasonable time
· Be actively involved with internal and external documentation
· Assist with special projects as needed
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
This role is positioned to continue evolving into a broader leadership role with increasing responsibility for budgeting, financial analysis, and people development, strengthening budget-to-actual analytics, and ensuring consistency and efficiency in accounting practices across the organization.
EDUCATION
· BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, CPA License required
EXPERIENCE
· Public accounting experience a plus
· 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
· Knowledge in Oracle and/or Netsuite a plus

Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem solving skills. Strong written and oral communication skills required. · Must demonstrate proven organization and project management skills, including ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects and activities while maintaining proper focus on major strategic initiatives· Ability to cope in a changing environment. Ability to interact with Finance and Non-Finance employees at all levels. Positive, enthusiastic “can do” attitude and work ethic. Serve as a positive influence within the Finance Group. This should be demonstrated through a positive and energetic outlook, an ability to eagerly develop professionally, a willingness to encourage a team environment and a fostering of ideas.

Extended work hours required, especially during peak periods. The employee may be on feet for up to twelve hours per day during set-up and the Show.
